I gotta say that seems a bit expensive… Then buying the gift afterwards…
The minimum spend is 75m for 2025, so this deposit will help cover a gift if a Secret Sansha is a no show. So far there has been at least one each year. Don’t worry, they’re on Mz SanshaClaws naughty list.
Obviously Kshal Aideron - CEO of Eve Rookies - stands to make a bit of ISK from that… According to his Reddit post, they had 50 players participate in it last year… That’s 3,750,000,000 ISK made just from registration fees…

He didn’t do it, it is the title of the website and when you link from it the forum automatically converts it to that and you have to manually alter the link to remove it.

That info wasn’t listed in the Reddit post… And since it wasn’t listed, I didn’t bother visiting the website…
Let’s get one thing perfectly clear, I’m not trying to give scammers any ideas… Definitely no reason to get antagonistic and sarcastic about it…
Not necessary… I’m not very familiar with Reddit which is why I asked that question…
Now that I think about it, you rarely ever answer my questions, usually somebody else does..
Just for the record, in case interested, it is not a Reddit thing specifically as Discourse (this forum’s software) automatically pulls the linked website’s title and shows that instead of the raw link when a link is within text (or tries to show a preview if a separate line, if possible but not always possible depending on how the linked website is structured).
This generally works as most websites have the subject or title of the specific page for their pages, thus results in a human / eye friendly link instead of the raw original one.
However some websites are structured improperly and have their generic title embedded instead and the forum software pulls that as a result, thus all Reddit links have the same text by default, which you can see in the OP post which has two different but identically worded Reddit links because of this.
Reddit should have the post or subreddit title as the website title instead of the generic one for the forum to can pull the data properly.
All that can be done is edit the link when posting on this forum and add a different text which is left empty by default in which case whatever is pulled from the website is shown.
Also note how other links in the OP work fine as those websites were coded in a cooperative manner to support such features.
