Mars might not be as difficult to terraform as first expected.

Since Mars has a lot of carbon dioxide and trees need water, using a Edible Water Pod to supply nutrients to the tree roots could possibly work.

Trees don’t need oxygen to breathe but do need instead carbon dioxide.

Inside of the edible tree pod would be water, soil and Tardigrades.

Hopefully the Tardigrades would somehow get on the outside of the tree pod while suckling water from the tree pod. The scope of the project would be to create Tardigrades that stayed close to each other to transfer water back and forth between them from the tree pod

As the Tardigrades breed and die they would leave behind nutrients and water for the tree roots to live off of. Another interesting area that Tardigrades inhabit is bat guano.

The Anti-Sublimation Mats would be a more durable Edible Water Pod Lining, 8 mm thick, filled with bat guano and Tardigrades. The surface that would absorb sun light that is harmful to tree leaves, a specific type of Vanta Black Thermal covering would cover each tree, much like you would cover your roses to prevent first damage.

The solar energy collected by TEG (Thermal Electric Generators) embedded in the Vanta Black surface would generate electrical power for the outlets and other needs as well as waming the underside of the Vanta Black Mat to promote cellular decomposition in the lining itself.

It’s much easier to make part of Mars breathable with oxygen than it is to create a planetary atmosphere for the whole planet system, which may be what the final terraforming is.

The magnetic field of the planet might be the most complex part.
We can literally filter the soil to remove the toxic material to make arable land, which can then be used to grow over it, from it.

Any other good things added to the structure of the soil or the created water works, as on earth.
The problems on Mars are not impossible to solve, they just to be solved.
Underground work is also possible to prevent toxic sun rays from surface exposure.

Which asks the question, why hasn’t NASA developed a rover to sift the bad Martian soil out, combine with soil from Earth, water and observe the growth of the seed.

The experiment have to be done in a compartment of the rover, but the rocks still contain minerals that the plant would need. Biological neutrients could be added.

A MOXIE version to convert nitrogen and argon in the Martian atmosphere would also help add to the stores of oxygen on Mars as well as reducing the more toxic elements.

With the toxic elements removed, oxygen could be pumped into enclosed habitats and eventually released in the atmosphere.

Mars must be able to hold onto some its atmospheric gases, meaning the core might be more stable than first expected, otherwise Mars would be like the Moon.

Habitat domes would work the best because when Mars rotated on its axis to the sunny side of Mars, the Sun would most likely evaporate all oxygen. Until an Earth like atmosphere was create in the form of clouds, which block out the harmful rays of the Sun here on Earth.

Who knows, maybe once clouds had been created and lightning started to strike the surface of Mars that a chemical change in the minerals might occur due to the EM and thermal energy dissipating across the surface where the lightning struck.
