After a rather extended period of financial embarrassment I have finally ordered a new pc that I am hopeful will run EVE ( my last attempt with a poverty laptop failed after a Windows 11 update some years ago )
I found this item on NEWEGG and it looked about perfect so with luck I will be back in game soon.
Figured I would post here for anyone else looking for a cheap ( ish ) option.

I am not attempting to convince you to switch OS to Linux. I have managed to operate this game on several old PCs under Linux OS. The oldest thus far is a 12 year old, HP with 8 GB of RAM, and a 2 GB VRAM passive Nivida GPU. I won’t tell you it looks the best, I have to operate it on “potato mode” to get more than 30 frames per second.
Brand new hardware can be an issue. The game appears to be out of touch with the latest and greatest hardware and drivers. I googled the item number;

Seems like a decent box, I would add a 1 TB SSD or NVMe to that build later, knowing the average size of any modern game is 50 GB or more. Enjoy your PC.
