Would be lovely hairdo. And get an array of actual hoops and chandeliers and some pearls and teardrops and maybe feathers… And blue apparel and fantasy dyes for the hair like blue and lime and pink and…
Many, many things. Not gonna happen since there’s no money and EVE has niched itself in some kind of vehicular combat corner and avatars are in a limbo, a leftover from times past.
At least my Ishtanchuk still haves her long departed and now legacy coppery skin color from before they shifted the complexion color palette. And they aren’t removing older stuff… yet?

I prefer natural color but I’m down for the other suggestions. Feathers and pearls would be lovely.

Why would they remove anything from character creation? It’s not like it’s costing them extra money.
And the color palette for the skin tones could also be extended. There are too few colors for the skin to chose from.
Even the apparels are too few to choose from. I may buy the bionic arms but more varety could be appreciated by many players.
OH well… It’s the ships that are the stars of the game and Equinox is coming with a few more ships so… beggars can’t be choosy?
EVE is a game about ships, not about playing Ken and Barbie dress-up.

Well, as old MMOs go, FFXIVs ken and Barbie business model is no-F2P, paid expansions, no company sellout successful compared to EVE Online’s catering to freakish vehicular PVP.
EVE is a rounding error in the finances of actual vehicular PVP games and certainly failed to be a online SF simulation in a time where it had no literal competition.
In a way, still has no competition, but it doesn’t matters anymore.
And I danm dress up and make up my tanks in War Thunder…

That would explain why your character portrait is so generic, blend and boring.
And if what you wrote is correct, CCP should remove character build altogether and let us use whatever image of our choosing.
I would expect lots of cat pics, flags and pairs of Glocks.
Personally, I’d have a pic of ICP, Pinochet, or the INGSOC logo.
