EVERY time I use the new launcher this happens... Update Pending (but not really an update)

I open up the new launcher… it says ready. I can have it open like this for half an hour and nothing… it waits for me to launch one of the accounts BEFORE saying “An update is pending, and will be downloaded when all running clients have been closes” preventing me from launching the other account as the launch button changes to “Not Ready”.

So now I have to close the account I managed to launch so that it can do its silly not-really-an-update update which in the end is “copying executables xxx of xxx (forget the number something like 195)” and I can launch my accounts again.

It is strange, on one machine i have it every time, on another never and on my third machine it happens sometimes.
