Maybe people need to do a better job of educating new members.
In any event. This thread has now derailed in a us vs them thread.
Sorry about that @Githany_Red . Was not the intention.

A cloaky ship, haha, way to go tiger…, but that is around the hisec structure not the earlier fight in lowsec
Your intelligence network is lacking big time, and an observer tooo, shiver shiver, tremble tremble, LOL. Locator agents just detail the system location and NPC station. You don’t know as much as you pretend do you?
The only way you could tell if I was on or not was by being in public chat channels and I removed your alts from the one I am in. Also standard practice when I am in hisec and in a war dec I make sure not to be in those channels, easy peasey lemon squeezy
I mean, structures are cheap. You don’t even need to fit or fuel them to issue a WarDec. Just core them I think? I wonder what would happen if people started forming little WarDec groups and just kept dropping new, throwaway structures every time BF killed one, and issuing new WarDecs and doing what they wanted regardless of BFs “rules”? What power does BF have beyond blapping disposable structures and momentarily pausing a war? Structures are cheap and so are wars.
Seems like a good way to frustrate a large, control-oriented entity by not letting them have things their way.
I’d do it myself, but Kane and I go way back and I don’t wanna do that to a friend. At least not personally.
The problem with that approach is that you cannot wardec the same people for another two weeks once the structure pops.
Hm, so instead of just WarDecing everyone in sight, just have a list of people and rotate through it. Have enough groups for a 2 week rotation. And believe me there are enough groups for that.
As far as I know, I’ve never been rude to you, even when directly disagreeing with you. So this threat makes it seem like you’re just trying to quash disagreement more than anything else, because I really doubt that you care whatsoever what’s being said to others.
What you’re doing is actually a really underhanded method of controlling other people. You’re essentially giving them an ultimatum to either stop expressing themselves, or you will “cause problems” for them because now what they say on their forums creates a problem for their whole alliance, and now maybe they’ll get kicked or punished somehow by their own people unless they give you what you want.
I’m actually genuinely surprised that someone like you would do something like this. That’s low and petty as ■■■■.
Maybe so, but it’s a really weak excuse for a pretense, which like I said you don’t need. Realistically speaking, if you were going to attack someone because their day-old member did something stupid, then you probably would’ve done it anyway, so this excuse is really difficult to buy. If I were leadership, at this point I would assume that BF would attack us regardless of circumstances, and plan accordingly.
Which is fine with me. The rules of the game give you the ability to do that, and you should if it benefits you.
That would work, but you would then potentially loose a structure every 24 hours. that is over 1 bill lost for maybe 500mil worth of wars. You also loose that war and ask spend for a week.
Actually… I am the one person that actually reaches out to a member in riot when I see telling them. Don’t let the others see you killing people in JITA. chat to your alliance mates before somebody sees and wardecs riot again.
I would rather that we are not at war. As I like many of the people in RIOT bar one or two people.
It would hurt you more than it would hurt them. You’d spend more time putting up the structures than they would spend sieging them, plus it would cost you upwards of 2 billion ISK every day.
There are better ways to do that. For example, if the large entity is too restricting and doesn’t allow you to operate at some capacity, you can drop all pretenses of your normal activities, and make your struggle about them and them alone. For example, by not owning citadels, and just allying in on wars. Then their members would start to become unable to operate independently because every time one of them finds themselves away from a gang’s warm embrace, they get snatched like a childe out of their cradle by Baba Yaga, and morale would start to drop. That would be a close approximation of guerrilla tactics/asymmetric warfare.
The smaller/weaker group needs a lot of dedication to pull this off, though.
In the end, it’s really CCP’s fault things are this way. In the past it used to just be null-sec that was like this, but now that’s been extended to pretty much every area of space. They just want those big battles to put into their marketing media, and nothing else.
A year or so ago, I was part of the battle of Odotte, when RIOT and PAC got reamed not by a hundred people, but by three hundred. BF was there too. That was on a lowbie alt though, and not on Destiny.
Anchor structure on ghost alt. Xfer to wardec group. 4ish days of war cuz of timers.
Sounds like my kind of struggle.
Wait - you can enter ear as an ally without having your own structures?
You need a structure to ally in on wars, but a POS works.
Well that is not how it works though. With a warHQ on a medium timer it will always be 24 hours give or take. If you have a structure with no wars attached then yes… 4 days.
You can always join up. Experience what’s left of high-sec wars before they merge EVE Online with EVE Echoes, and they disappear forever.
When a threat becomes a fact of life, it ceases being a threat. At this point pretty much everyone believes that the “rules” excuse is just for lols and it’s just going to keep happening. Like half of our members mention being “blacklisted” by BF as it is.
If you care as much as you say you do, maybe you’re on the wrong side.
Yes… the structure is xferred to the wardec corp after it’s set up.I think you misinterpreted me.
Well as you know.
We happily accept RIOT people into our loving arms. We don’t fly cheap, we SRP our bling, so it all good if people fly what we require. Oh and of course… with at least 1 logi alt that can fly a Guardian at minimum.
Every time I can beat you down publicly, I will, so here we go:
I fly what I’m asked to fly, which is something you can’t relate to because everything you do is purely for the benefit of your inflated ego.
Why would I take pictures during an intense engagement instead of focusing on my actual job? Prioritizing vanity to be able to later prove to other people how much of a big shot you are is sounds exactly like something you’d do, however.
Or just locate you and casually fly an interceptor there.
You logged in like twice in a whole month. Go ahead and make some more excuses, though. It’s not like everyone here can laugh at you even harder by this point.
You just make yourself look foolish:
Ego…
That is ego…
In terms of cloakies, I was continuously asked to fly a Falcon by Fawlty7. I often fly logi, you might have noticed that CODE Foritzar I was in two Basilisks. So much for that one…
Nothing to do with the picture taking, just asking if you were in the lowsec engagement?
An interceptor you say? There were the odd people who came in with an interceptor, one being a Test character that cloaked up, and logged off or left when going AFK.
You honestly are telling me I logged in twice in the period that you war decked us, ROFL. I am going to show that to my alliance mates, they will wet themselves laughing at that. Your core game time is when I am in bed, the cross over is when you stay up ultra late, so much for your intelligence.
You beat me down so well and publicly, lmao…
It takes an extraordinary level of stupidity to criticize someone for doing something, and then use that same action as a defensive argument in your next statement, but you’ve been a consistent trailblazer in this regard.
No, you definitely weren’t asking; that’s not how people ask. You were throwing ■■■■ at the wall to see if some of it would stick. Unfortunately for you, the splash-back got right into your open, drooling mouth.
