Excel Add in - Base Job Cost or Estimated Item Value

Does anyone know of a way of getting to the Estimated Item Value (or Base Job Cost as I’ve heard it referred to on fuzzwork) using the excel add in?

I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to creating xml or getting an xml query into excel so was hoping to try and figure out a way to getting to this value using the add in.

However even when i use the add in and go to the base of all the items required to make an item and then use the “adjusted price” i still end up with a different value to in-game

e.g. “High-Grade Ascendancy Alpha” when i take the adjusted price of the lowest level of the PI and work it all up it still ends up higher than the game suggests in the industry window…can anyone help give guidance or advice?

posting this in the eve excel add-in section would have worked better… you can edit your OP and move it to that spot.

The big sample sheet has EIV calculations in it, in the manufacturing tab, there is some minor issues due to the industry index endpoint only serving 2 signifigant digits whereas ingame is more accurate. But it should be pretty close. (If an item has no price you can assume 0)

Here’s a cdn link to the v1 addin sheet, you can try to find the formulas for the EIV under manufacturing. https://web.ccpgamescdn.com/aws/eveonline/files/EVE_x_MS_Excel-workbook-sample.xlsx

Thank you for this…it looks like i was going about it the right way but there seems to be a couple of oddities surrounding the ascendancy implants - which it looks like i can’t get round without having to use something else. (maybe it’s the shattered villard wheel as it doesn’t have an adjusted price - only an average which is odd)
