Why “hide” these ships (especially from newer players that dont know about them) and not make them easily visible in the Ship Tree? It simply looks kinda cool but is also a neat way of checking ship bonuses. Let the true variety of ships be easily visible.
I know these are “special” ships and can’t be gotten in “regular ways” but expecially the SoCT line is very widespread nowadays and quite newbro friendly by design.
If you want to make everyone happy (that is including the RP people 
) have a news bulletin during the next Scope:
Coreli Corp Operatives [protagonist of personal choice] steal partial blueprint information on highly classified Ship blueprints in a daring heist. During the following pursuit by CONCORD Agents the data was uploaded on a unsecure network and found its way to the public. The partial information availible gives insights into the capabilities of these ships. It seems though that manufacturing them will - to the disappointment of several industrial consortiums - not be possible form this dataleak. CONCORD spokespeople declined to comment citing an active investiagtion of the matter.
Seems like a potentially low effort for a decent (imho) output.
