A couple of times I have foolishly docked while my fighters sit outside of the station.
I assume there’s a way to reconnect to them easily?
If not, I don’t see how having a carrier that has a sole focus on drone control cannot have the most basic function of reconnection when other ships can…?

Im assuming the mechanic for fighters works like drones. So when you undock, R click the capacitor and you should see a reconnect option
No, you cannot reconnect to fighters the same way as drones. If you dock up without them you must scoop them to get them back.
