There was a time when you could do a fitting for a ship, and go back into the fittings window an hour later and the fitting window would still be on that ship. That was really handy. But then it all changed, and now you have to ( often repeatedly ) type in the name of the ship. I don’t see any advantage to this change. Can we have it back the way it used to be ?
What would be the problem with simply saving the fitting you started and then continuing there?
Click on the browser. Then click on the personal fittings. It will always be there until you delete it. It is how I save all of my fittings.
You are missing the point. As it currently stands, I have to re-type ‘Tengu’ every time I enter the fittings window. It does not remember that you were working on that ship only 30 seconds ago. The way it used to be, you could leave fittings for a whole week and come back and it would remember what you were working on and go to it.
I must be missing something here..
I saved these some time ago.
I am able to click on one and have it come up in the fitting window.. What I am missing or not understanding? Am genuinely curious.
Under the old version, if you opened your Badger fitting and worked on it, then next time you went to Fittings the ‘Search’ box would show ‘Badger’ and the menu below would be opened to it. It remembered what ship you had been working on….you did not have to ‘Search’ for it all over again.
