ISD, can we get this pinned to the top of NCQA? It’s just too helpful to rely on bumps to keep it on top.

I’ve been playing almost 2 decades and still found this thread useful.

To hopefully get their attention, you need to put @ before ISD and then select a specific name from the list, like @ISD_Villard or @ISD_Traindriver

Great list. One big important tip for new players…

Never trust the advice a player gives you as being FACT.

Many players fly certain ships and disregard the others, saying they are inferior. It could be true, but they cannot speak for the whole community.

You will see people talk about certain ships being bad for ACTIVITY A and ACITIVITY B. Then you go and get that ship and then DOMINATE both activities. Every is different. Different skills trained, ship fits, ship stats, piloting skills, preferences, etc.

Find out for yourself what is true or not and what works for you. Every session in EVE is a learning experience and will be for a long time. You can accept advice from people but don’t follow what they say blindly without thinking for yourself. Get multiple opinions about things, do research, compare “facts”, and so on.

Always be open to learning new things and you will never feel your time is wasted. See you out there! S!
