Since 3 weeks we have a lot of fun in Factional Warfare BattleField in the warzone Amarr/Minmatar, a complexe just ideal for BattleShip.
I have the feeling that the difference between BattleShip Tech 1 and BattleShip Navy is smaller (in terms of power) than between frigate tech 1 and frigate navy.
For this reason : scout NVY complex are often frequented by Comet or Hookbill etc, rarely by frigate tech 1.
What do you think about having a BattleField only for frigate tech 1 ? (navy forbidden) maybe we can call it BattleGround.
I mean half the time BattleField spawn and half the time it s BattleGround, in a classic BF the winner is decide by only 1 or 2 fight because of the price of BattleShip tech 1, but with this potential BattleGround everybody will want reship in system, this mean several of them will organise cheap hauler with escort.
Keeping this big distance between the 3 control zone could force afterburner frigate to deploy several Micro Jump Unit (activable by enemy too).
Reshiping for this big area should force FleetCommander to call sometimes tactical retreat just to regroup with several backup.
(However if the Power Detection of Griffin can be reduces to 11 point it will be way more fair, like 1 Griffin will be able to block 4 Griffin).
