I am also experiencing the same issue as you. My computer configuration includes an AMD RX9070 XT graphics card and a Ryzen 9 9950x3d processor. After the update on the 25th, when I launch the game in DX12 mode, I can only enter the character selection interface. If I continue to click to enter the game, it immediately crashes and reports an error. Even after updating both the graphics card driver and Windows to the latest versions, there has been no improvement.
Same issue, specs: Ryzen 5900x, 32gb Ram, 9070XT. Driver time out error only with eve, tried various other games such as WoW, World of Warships with no issues.
Completed a total clean GPU removal and reinstall with no change. Even did the same with EVE.
Thank you for your bug report. The developers are already aware of this issue. While we are unable to provide a timeline for a fix, there is a workaround by switching the client to run on DX11.
This is pretty annoying to be honest. I have a brand spanking new 9070xt, bought a brand new PSU and I can’t believe DX12 will crash my display driver on launch EVERY TIME. This is pretty annoying I hope they get that fix out quicker.
Same issue ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, 64GB RAM, 9070 XT. Issue appears to be exclusive to Eve Online, as I can run a long list of other games and software without any problems. Was fine until this last update of Eve. The longer I can’t play, the less likely I will continue to sub omega.
