I was not trying to troll you in return, I was just taken aback by how pointed your comments to what I thought was a humourous dig at myself were, like the whole thing about what channel.

The more serious comments I made after that were that I thought it wasnt very helpful to AG that one of the few sensible heads they had was shouted down in BOTH channels (regardless of purpose) by people calling him an alt and generally telling people to ignore his advice.

I got salty with you when it seemed to me you were misinterperting my points on purpose.

Hey, if it was a genuine misunderstanding Im cool to say sorry and move on if you are?

I thought you would be interested in hearing what I thought was going on there because it was one of the reasons why I kept at arms length from AG. I had seen a number of people go in their with leadership skills and all manner of shite start flying around and I did not want to cause any myself.

Anyone with > 5 active braincells knows why there is a conflict. @Knowledgeminer actually loves the game and plays ag for fun, while the great majority in that channel is just a bunch of wanabe white knights who moan about game mechanics and just wana share their misery with others. @Knowledgeminer calls them out for that and that is actually worrying to me, because if he succeeds in weeding those people out, ag may actually become competent one day. The constant whining and defeatist attitude of most people there is what is keeping them down in my opinion.

That should have been an answer to @Dracvlad not you @Ramona_McCandless, sorry :wink:

He is evidently very good, I would like to see him taking people from the AG chat channel and developing an effective group. Sadly we ended up having an argument because I thought he was being too dismissive of new arrivals who were of course eager but ineffective and suggested that he give them a bit more leeway, not be so brutal even if he was correct. I did not help the situation and he got a short term ban from the channel just after that last argument.

We have exchanged mails recently and I like his approach a lot, I am going to keep in contact with him because what he does is interesting and effective.

AG is suffering from a shortage of people, in certain TZ’s they are almost non-existant.

But I must say your dig about me being a leader of the AG channel was always amusing because I lurked there for some time and saw a large number of conflicts with people coming in and wanting to create a more focussed group and the clashes were interesting to say the least which is why, when I started to do stuff I kept well away from any leadership type discussions or even develop a group. I sort of pushed a few things, some of the people who started blapping wrecks were my contacts and I was busy training Lucas for that when the nerf hit. That one killed it for me effectively which you might have noticed by my reaction. :stuck_out_tongue:

You may dismiss the issues I pointed out above in terms of the freighter gank mechanics, those issues are real and impact peoples attitudes which is a major part of the defeatism. But they don’t impact the area in which Knowledgeminer operates in, as he does not get involved in trying to help freighters for a start.

And there we have two gankers talking together in the AG chat channel… :popcorn: You do realise that I lurk there and mostly don’t say anything at this point. Funny though, they even mentioned cats…

What does surprise me is that there are a number of people from my corp in the AG chat channel.

Lol, you banned him from the channel? Funny, this is somehow always happening to the ag which are actually effective, except maybe Jen, but she does not talk much. I still wonder how long until he switches to the dark side. :grimacing:

Remember you can always join the CODE. comms if you need someone to chat to or help you through some issues. I wish some other antigankers did that before they did some of the stuff they’ve done.

The misuse of the flag button is pretty evident on these forums. If people remove anything that the person could find offensive and they flag it again then there is an issue. It is just another way of getting at the person. So I made it blow up in their face. You do realise that it has to be more than one character flagging them?

The amusing thing for me is that I flagged two posts myself, the two where I actually asked a player to stop trolling and after mine had been flagged and two where a player had used offensive words at me to make a point. So again the lying by the personal attack posters is amusing as hell. You can’t make it up indeed.

Most of those posts were replying to trolls so nothing of any value was lost. And I will finish cleaning this thread of my reply posts. Completed, in ten hours I will delete them.

As if, if you want to think that then feel free. In fact removing trash posts is actually rather fun and a good idea. I am going to keep doing this.

Mate in game none of you can do anything to get me, I know how to play this game, I am secure in my total immunity to any of you, where is the paranoia?

That is what it is all about, in game impacts, and in game I have no desire or inclination to hunt or go after any of you either, none of you are important in game.

No one in this game bothers me enough to even think about finding them in game and blowing up their pixels, though there is a lot of attempts to make it personal on me.

Your suggestion is so wide of the mark it is laughable.

I have hunted characters in game, but I go after people with certain tactical or strategic value in where I am and what I am doing. Whiney ass forum attack posters are not important at all.

So by suggesting that you are in fact doing what you accused me of, you should think about it :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL, you are the one being rather unwise in suggesting that based on forum banter. But I will tell you one thing, finding humour and laughing at stuff and every so often being outrageous or different to how you normally act is actually rather fun, I tend to do it when I find myself on the cusp of taking things too seriously.

But in terms of the flag thing I had decided after speaking to a couple of people that as soon as this was done to me in a methodic way I would ram it back down their throats. Was a lot of fun.

Like you perhaps, one of the most unstable people I have come across…

It is a game mate, you should also remember that, after all you seemed to find that AG you refer to funny and tried to wind up people over it, you even tried it now on me. I think that is perhaps the fourth time you have mentioned that to me to try and get a reaction, yeah four times in the forums.

The thing is that I did not know him as he was not in my TZ, and I have no real idea what happened there, so there is no personal rapport there for me, just another tragic incident in a world which is full of it.

@Clockwork_Robot do you want to comment on this as you seem to want to police forum behaviour?

Drac, as I’m sure you found out yesterday, the ISDs are the ones who police the forums.

And what commentary could I possibly make on this, other than “You are responding to someone who is clearly trying to troll you.”
