I just saw that GeForce NOW is still patching EVE…
Anyone else who can’t login into to game?

It’s been like this for going on 3 days and it’s p-ssing me off. As my mother used to say though, “better to get p-ssed off than p-ssed on.”
3rd party apps tend to not be great with EVE launching. Why not just use the official launcher? I mean EVE can play on a potato still.
Hey I say that! Maybe I am your mom?

I am unaware of the exact details, but yes, I could run this and other games on my 12 year old laptop. Last year, my son replaced it, gifting me a his slightly better desktop PC. However this is an issue for both Ge Force Now and CCP to collaborate upon. You won’t find much of a solution from the players.
Suggestion: I have Windows 10 and mine failed recently to update this startup location
c:\users/(user name)\AppData\Local\eve-online\app-1.11.2 in the shortcut and my husband did it manually. However, since your copy of the game, exists on the Nvidia server, you cannot make those changes. You might pass it on to Nvidia and tell them to point it to the correct folder?
Have fun!
3 days later and players who use GeForce NOW in combination with Steam still can’t play the game, because it is still patching…
Now that compounds the problem. Your game is running on an Nvidia server and using Steam to update it. Now you have 3 companies unwilling to talk to each other about “your problem”. They all perceive it as your issue and not their fault at all. Sorry to hear it and be the messenger of ill tidings.
Have fun!
Hey folks, we have no bug reports (and therefore no tasty logs), nothing has been flagged by NVIDIA, and everything seems to work fine from our testing. Please use the bug button in the launcher when you run into issues.
Thank you for taking time to respond to these players. It is nice to hear from the devs here. Knowing you are not aware of any issues from Nvidia. Meanwhile the players here have stated this game operates fine on older hardware, should they drop the fancy 3D graphics, known as potato mode. I now wonder, if these players have hit tech support at Nvidia and Steam? If not, you must cover all the bases guys.
Have fun!
