While simulating a ship build, there needs to be slots along the bottom of the simulated ship fit radial that allows the Capsuleer to simulate both hardwiring and boosters.

There are lots of more advanced simulations that the ingame fitting window cannot do.
Boosters is one, different skills another, projected effects from command bursts and remote modules even more.
I recommend using Pyfa if you want to do more than simple ship fitting, it does all these things.
No, because Pyfa is a 3rd party app that is used to gather ship fitting information that is then sold to interested parties that is then used to properly fit PvP ships that go after the Pyfa fit ship.

It does, and everything he’s asking for is solved simply by saving the fits with the items in the cargo hold. It’s how every other fitting tool handles it
