HELP emergency

When i start Eve from the start up screen (which open fine) I get a message: “Your Eve installation may have modified, damaged or corrupt files . Verify ManifestFile: Couldn’t open Manifest file bin:/manifest.dat.”

What can I do? Would I need to re-download the game? if so would I have to get rid of all of the old one?

Open your EVE launcher, top right hand hamburger menu > “Shared cache…” > “verify”
