it would have been nice if ccp made orcaās weaker while mining in moons, risk - reward or make it a non concord sanction area of affect something like that then risk would actually = reward
nah, it would have been stupid.
So far right now in Hisec I found it better to ice mine than anchor an Athanor on a moon and wait.
Btw would it be best for my Orca to also web a few mini orcaās or ?
How did HS mining survive before HS moon mining was added? Seems like HS is going back to that.

With mostly AFK grazers and no Trig invasions, FOBs, NPC Miners, etc.

There was a lot less nullsec mining. Most serious miners tried to mine in lowsec, but even highsec mining was profitable enough that you didnāt have to do it AFK.
Donāt forget that the refining change also happened, which is part of what cemented nulls advantage when it came to mining. Before the refining change you could match null refining, (ok, so it was harder on null, that disadvantage going away was fine), which meant you didnāt get priced out of markets like you do now.
