if you jump into low sec or wh there is also a warning ! does not mean you die on the other side but it has informed you that you jump into a dangerous system … triglavian and edencom warnings are the same ! and there is no need to make them different … inform ppl that there is possible danger on the other side ! more then CCP need to do …

By comparison, there is no warning when entering hostile empire space. So if I enter Amarr space I have no warning. (-10 standing from farming tags in missions)

As I said, the level of danger is not well-conveyed, and when the expectation of security in high-sec has been violated, that should be emphasized.

Your highsec status security shouldn’t be taken for granted. Especially when Havoc enters tomorrow. CONCORD won’t be responding all the time in highsec.

The mechanic is fine. And a fun little kick in the pants to remind you that New Eden is dystopian broken universe where dangers lurk around every corner. That CONCORD is a corrupt organization that doesn’t give 2 shits about you and can be paid off (see clone soldier tags. EvE wiki is down at the moment). That High sec, isn’t safe space and one should always be looking over their shoulder. That loss, is inevitable.

The CONCORD also serves drifters. See them not preventing drifters from using doomsdays in high sec.

Dual boxing makes the scouting very easy…just use a shuttle in the other account. But even if you only have one account, as I did for a long time, it is easy to just dock up, send a shuttle through the gate to check, and so on. You plan the route so you already have shuttles in the relevant stations ( you can fit 2 shuttles inside a Praxis…a tactic I often use ).

You have escape hatch with a frigate in battleship sized ships. Why do you also need shuttles in cargo?

CONCORD exists specifically to deal with capsuleers. They don’t get involved in anything else, despite The Scope making it seem like they are the galactic police.

Yes. Lore wise, CONCORD exists to enforce the laws upon capsuleers only. NPC’s are considered non-capsuleer, except when they aren’t. Gotta love the inconsistency.

Something something Yaulai accords so many years ago, yadda yadda yadda. It’s all in EvE Uni.

In fact, CONCORD is a bit outdated and we were surprised when CCP didn’t hand the role off to EDOMCOM after the trig event had ended.

It would be ok to remove trigs from gates, Only if CCP gives some goodies to real player gate campers of course. You have to keep the balance.

CCP decided to nerf ganking to the ground while adding deadly NPCs .

I rather prefer the famous EVE human emergent gameplay.

Good question. It’s a Lore thing. And nothing more.

I think it had to do with handling the extreme power a capsuleer has at their mental fingertips vs a normal crewed ship.

This is why “rats” exist in highsec, because those ships are not capsuleer ships. They are crewed by lots of pixilated people. Good to know your murdering innocent folks when you blap them huh!

So the 4 major powers decided to create a policing agency. The Yulai accords, or whatever, and CONCORD was born.
