High Sec the New Renter's Space

Yes, and?

High seccers rise up!

Hear hear! All highsec dwellers are hereby encouraged to become better players through obeying the CODE. I have a dream that all miners will one day live in a highsec where they only need to be judged by the expiry date of their mining permit.

A few of us did that in 2013, or tried to. The infamous Carebears Invasion of Goonspace quasi-campaign, led by Harry Forever. It didn’t accomplish much other than a few of us 'bears learning a lot about pvp and nullsec, making some great friends, and having a really fun time. Living solo in null in a Thrasher or Hound involves a lot of thrills and chills. But probably the biggest accomplishment was this hilarious forums thread.

Is it bad that I kinda miss Harry?

ive yet to see code develop any rules to stations, its not like code couldnt do lots of damage to stations with gank talos. or are we afraid some fleet is going to show up and shoot back?

Of course all highsec structures are governed by the CODE. NPC stations have an important role as they allow miners to take CODE compliant breaks. Other structures are allowed on a case by case basis and can be removed if an agent deems it necessary. For the details on structure deployment you can consult the excellent website www.minerbumping.com. You can also ask any experienced EVE player to show you how to look up structure kills on zkillboard.

I found the rule on stations, Section XLI, Subsection 2.J:

“You must obtain a permit, before deploying a station. The minimum required fee is set, as always, at 10 million isk. However, agents are authorized to accept advance payments exceeding one billion isk, so long as the station openly proclaims adherence to the CODE. If miners have a grievance against any non-compliant station, they can submit a request for removal to any agent, which must be accompanied by a processing fee of 50 million isk.”

C’mon. Deploying bubbles and dropping bombs on Mittanigrad was hilarious. Especially the time we almost bombed each other. My face cramped up from laughing so hard.

We’re currently renting out high-sec system for 5B/month.

Yep. Best time I’ve had in Eve. My own bombing of the Mittaningrad was accidental, I was trying to kill the Goon pets member guy outside the station. But the damage reports were pretty funny. The Clone Bay took a pretty vicious hit.

You cannot become better if you follow worser one.

Exactly. Which is why people should follow the CODE. When you want to learn, you look for the masters.

Nobody wants to be better at stupidity.

Only people who are already very stupid, that is. “Dig deeper”

I would applaude ambitious corporations and alliances holding, defending and conquering territory in highsec.

James conquered high sec in 2012.

Good one. Is there a jump bridge that accompanies that?

Sure, no problem.
