Highsec Capital Ships AND ISK Sinks

But you sound like you want to erase HS.

Seriously, There’s nothing wrong with HS. It’s working as intended. Without HS, the big entities would have no neutral place to do business.

If you want to run a recruitment and acclimatization program to get HS dwellers out to the nether regions, then have at it. I’ll throw some support your way. But changing HS to suit your personal desires doesn’t fly.

Which means they have no idea why you are there.

Seriously, this isnt a problem with the right attitude.

My problem with this idea is it favors groups with large pockets. Mercs could easily claim a POCO empire if they don’t have one already, say the barren and temperate near Jita. Then they have steady income rolling in and can easily field cap costs when taking out opposing Citadels or defending their own POCOs. You create a system where the rich can easily afford the caps and yet others trying to carve a niche out can’t.

I’m thinking that “IF” a cap flew in high sec, shouldn’t all mods be locked down except passive mods, like warp stabs and shield mods.

And Concord not be responsible for protecting them. Maybe fly under a new flag like suspect. Allowing anyone to gank it, but attackers get suspect flags for the defensive escorts to defend it.

Allowed to cross map to an engagement or war accross the Galaxy. They would be exposed to more risk because they would be out of their strongholds.

There are a whole host of equipment that would need to come along. I’ll list just one: Bombs

You cannot open Pandora’s Box “just a crack”…

When it comes to high-sec ganking, the only defense is tank because the point of a gank is to destroy the target before Concord arrives. Since Amarr is a 1.0 system, Concord will arrive in 6 seconds. Now consider the MASSIVE TANK that a Dreadnought like the Revelation has. That ship alone has at least 530,000 EHP just for the hull with a bonus towards all armor resistance with 8 low slots and 4 medium slots. That is some serious armor tanking.

The math alone ensures that no one has the financial incentive to gank a Revelation in Amarr let alone in the span of 6 seconds before Concord arrives.

So yeah, Chribba doesn’t need any help defending himself. His ship’s hull is as tough as nails and so far I don’t think anyone succeeded. It is the tankiest miner in high-sec. Most suicide gankers would ignore any ship that has over 300,000 EHP which is what an Orca can usually achieve.

No one said high sec was safe. It’s just safER but not safe.

PS: The reason NS/LS/WH entities attack neutrals is because they don’t know if you’re a spy or a scout that could be an alt that might have an enemy fleet incoming.

That is paranoid behavior. “Oh look we have a neut here, shoot the fukcer”.

Well… you do have to earn being shot in Provi.

–Gadget is just sayin’

It ain’t being paranoid if you’re trying to protect something vital in a region of space known for housing outlaws.

I’m at npc corp and jumped into LS/NS/WS and doing my routine anoms scans. Am I spi? Ok Null sec claimabale and could accept you trying to avoid intruders. But low and wspace what makes you feel its yours and in about to spi what you are about there?

It doesn’t matter. If they don’t know you they will attack you. As for spy, perhaps I should have used the term scout since that is more applicable. But either way it will not matter what your intentions are while you’re in LS/WH space. If they don’t know you, or if you refuse to pay their extortion-level fees to go through, they will attack you. Your intentions be damned.

PS: My main is a neutral in an NPC corp as well. If I spot another neutral (like you) in LS/WH I will consider you a threat. You have been warned.

Then I’d say it’s even - Offensively paranoid behavior.

You can’t blame us for it.

Thats the saving grace of the current status-quo.

As long as caps are kept out of HS, you dont have to worry how many of them LS/NS have.

Caps arent needed in HS either.
Not for PvE or PvP.

I don’t think we need another fiasco after imperium decided to assault PH market hub at perimeter with 1000+ of caps.

Anyway, I just wanted to give the Op my informed opinion about the topic, which is… NO!!

High-sec is not 0.0 space… They will need only handful of ships to kill the node because of Crimewatch mechanics…

I think it is more likely someone would auto destruct said ships and send me all the ISK they have.

I also think bumping would have a whole new goal…

It’s because caps not allowed in HS. Next thing after Caps free to fly in HS is what were people mentioned above. And I’m sure someone would ask to anchor KS in HS too.
