I went AWOL before the mining waste addition to the game.
Turns out the Mammoth now has a 45k m3 cargo hold for just gas. (Is that at minmatar industrial ship V? or default?)
The question is- why would anyone use a Hoarder if we’ve all been using a Miasmos since the dawn of time?
Is there something that’ll make the Hoarder better in this or that way than the Miasmos at hauling gas?

The Mammoth has a general purpose cargo bay, not a specialized bay. The volume of the Mammoth would be with skills and full cargo expanders and t2 cargo rigs (very unreasonable to do because a Thrasher can kill that ship with one shot).
The Hoarder has a gas bay and ammo bay. The hoarder is faster than a Miasmos (because of the ship bonus) and can be fitted with more tank to give you more chance to get back to the gate with an AB or MWD.

I see, yeah I mixed up Mammoth with Hoarder, but I meant Hoarder.
Not sure I feel like it’s worth training Minmatar Industrial 5, but I’ll see what I can do
