How can I not delete the game?

Well, yeah, but Market PvP can and has been used to describe it also. :beer_mug:

ok. :+1: :slightly_smiling_face:

Well, maybe your “point” just isn’t one? I mean, whats the alternative? If you want them “less spread out”, you’d need to cut down the top-end jackpot drops a lot to compensate. But these are what make exploration an interesting activity, you never know what you will get.

So, lets say over the cours of 3 hours you clean 15 sites.
5x 200k ISK
5x 500k ISK
3x 2 Mio ISK
1x 10 Mio ISK
1x 50 Mio ISK
= 64 Mio ISK / 3 hours = 21.3 Mio ISK/hour.

Now you would rather like:
5x 1 Mio ISK
5x 3 Mio ISK
3x 7 Mio ISK
on the lower end. Thats already 41M ISK. Leaves 23 for the “jackpots”
1x 10 Mio ISK
1x 13 Mio ISK
= 64 Mio ISK = 21.3 Mio ISK/hour.

Now you have a better payment at the low end, but significantly less jackpots if they happen. Which would mean you would have to take away quite a lot potential high-value items from the loot-tables, making these sites a lot less interesting.

You really think that would make the game “better”? I’d rather teach the newbros to be flexible, learn how to make use of Gas-Sites too (requires only a dirt-cheap venture) and go for a corp that carries them for all the content they cannot yet do solo. So you get the best of both worlds. Newbros we recruit get schooled this way and they can run all content with us from day one. Even the highly lucrative C5&6 Gas- and Combatsites - in a group - and get their fair share. Hell do they make some money for a char only a few weeks old.

EVE isn’t and shouldn’t be balanced around the “lonely noob wants to conquer the universe alone”. Never has been.

Yes. Absolutely.

Every other MMO has it like that. For a good reason. It is basic human psychology. And new generation of players are snowflakes, they won’t stay here with current rewards design. It is definitely a way how to increase new player retention.

Old players will not be affected in any way if this ever changes. They are invested, they won’t quit and they care only for ISK/h anyway which will remain the same.

Right and thats to stop them being too easily farmed, distance is part of the balance of the faucet, ISK doesn’t mean much to newbros if they keep tripping over it, stuff in EVE requires travel, hell even in normal MMO’s they still have to travel around, so i don’t think thats the issue, missions exist just fine and are sources of ISK that don’t require you to move very much, so having to actually “explore” to find exploration sites seems like pretty much a par for the course

Don’t get discouraged… As you train up, you will discover bigger and better money opportunities… I started out doing the same PVE missions that don’t pay much…then to running battleships and marauders from Jita to the other hubs to take advantage of the price differences (five years ago before they deliberately blocked the Amarr trade route)…then to running trig sites where I could make about 400 mil an hour in high sec (be tanked for ganker gangs dropping on you)… The most important part is to enjoy the learning process and have fun… :slightly_smiling_face:

ATLEAST 10 mill can be earned out of this in less than an hour in terms of trading. Maybe the other gameplays may earn more. :money_mouth_face:

Thanks EVE staff, for a great game.

i will buy a lot of ammo

He lost it all. He has nothing to give you.
