How do I flag a post?

Hi a moderator locked my post because I needed to add some more information to my character bazaar ad. However I’m not sure what he meant by “flagging” the post so he will unlock it after I edited the post (which I did now).

How do I do this?

if you look beside the reply button on your post, not the one below this… you’ll see 3 dots. once you click those 3 dots, you’ll see a flag… flag that and use one of the options to flag it.

also note @isd does nothing… it doesn’t notify them of any messages, so you would have to tag an actual isd, which you did.

I’m trying to find the 3 dots and a flag icon but I can’t. The reply button isn’t there because the moderator locked the post. And I can’t see any 3 dots or a flag icon :frowning:

Do you mean the bookmark icon?

To flag the post, like said above you click the three dots:

and then pick the flag option that appears:

As you mention you cannot find this option but can find the bookmark option that is right next to it, I suspect you don’t see the flag option yet. That may be because you’ve got a very new account with less privileges on this Discourse-type forum.

Is this the case for you?

Ah yes, there is no such flag option for me T_T

Yes I’m returning to the game after like 9 years or so this is all new account to the forum at least.

I can see the flag icon now :smiley:

@Uriel_the_Flame , I had a different issue also the first time I logged in, I didn’t get my character portrait shown in the top right. So I could never log out or switch characters.

Just a fancy word for bot in this case. In other words an automated message triggered by a specific condition.

nah it aint… you gotta have certain trust level to use it…
