So I was pretty hyped to try Vanguard, installed it via the EVE launcher, and then when I launch the game it prompts me to log into the game … And if I enter my EVE credentials I’m denied lol the only solution Google gives is “download the official launcher and install it, then launch it from the EVE launcher”
You have to create a character. Your eve character doesn’t work. It should be an additional character slot on an acct
I have the same issue: Steam on Linux. If I use my Eve character it sends me to a username/password login screen.
If I select “Join the Vanguard” on my other Eve account—same. If I select “Join the Vanguard: STEAM:etcetc” it sends me to the login screen.
Your eve character isn’t going to be used on vanguard, you have to create a new character specifically for vanguard
