How long to recover old account

I have the urger to EVE again after fiddling with an Alpha account for a week.
I submitted a request to recover my old account last used in 2017 but have heard nothing not even an acknowledgement after 5 days.
Any way to track request?
How long does it typically take?

If you remember the password you should simply be able to login. If you requested a password reset, it will be sent to the email address originally associated with the account. https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/204217361-Account-Recovery

If it requires more than this, security needs to confirm your identity and it could take a while.

Old password is not working so I’ll have to be patient.

My last account related ticket took 3 weeks to receive the first response, other people got a response in a day…so it seems to vary quite a bit at the moment.
