- Grab a fast align and fast warp frigate
- Patrol busy parts of space looking for ppl already running the War Grids.
- Enter a site already being run and sit in any room without enemies in it.
- When the extraction node spawns, warp to it and steal it all before the player’s cruisers running the site can get there.
- Warp out and find your next target.
This will allow you to “run” as many sites as you can find that are being captured by other people.
Eventually you will force all other site runners in the area to give up, at which point you move to another area and steal their rewards.
Well thought out CCP, well thought out indeed.

I really don’t get CCP’s plan for these.
You either have to steal other ppl’s payouts or run an account specifically to be in a retrieval frigate to stop ppl stealing your payouts.

Exactly, and many are noticing this about this years spread.
I just want my shirt and cap.
Though there is stuff to stay undocked longer and my guess is the reason for the grind festival we are all celebrating right now in New Eden.

TBH, it’s the 25 minute commitment that turns me away from this event.
I do like the site’s style and gameplay.
The warping between rooms, managing the NPCs and timers, it’s quite engaging for a single character, maybe less so for multiboxers who can cover all three rooms at once, but solo it can be tricky and require a decent fit and some skills to pull off; a well calibrated challenge even for a veteran.
However to see 25 minutes attention and work disappear to someone who just showed up and contributed nothing, and in a way that you cannot both counter, and complete the site; is frustrating enough for me to just dock up and walk away from eve for the night.
Even if it was 5 minute work lost, it would feel just as frustrating

Man that sucks.
I mainly work on things that I know cannot be taken from me.
Security missions and mining easy peasy
Factional Warfare is a Great entry point for low level PVP
Meanwhile, there are plenty of players just killing the elite mercs in ships that can’t progress the site.
They are just farming the warpath things through the event rewards.
- Spin up a new character,
- basic fit it into something tanky enough to survive,
- go out and farm warpath rewards until you reach the end,
- get all rewards.
- Biomass character,
- Spin up new one
- Profit.
With 40 event points per 6 elites killed, and you can usually kill 6 elites per site, you only need 25 sites to complete the event track and get all the rewards.
