How to make the launcher stop sneaking Vanguard into the foreground

I do not want to play EVE Vanguard and I am not curious about it. My launcher keeps slipping Vanguard to the foreground hoping I’ll accidentally click it and I find this annoying. I want it to go away. How can I achieve this?

I use the launcher in the minimal size, it has a bunch of benefits:

  • compact
  • ‘play’ buttons to directly launch accounts instead of having to select an account and then clicking again to launch it
  • no Vanguard button visible!

I didn’t even realize there still was a Vanguard button in the launcher until I saw this thread.
