Our ingame community had recruitment forum thread, but there was a break in posting, so it went into LOCKED state.
Is it possible to merge new rec thread and the old rec thread? How?

I think you can flag the old thread for attention and ask the mods to unlock it so you can continue there.
Typically this is what you would do. However if the OP that made the thread is no longer associated, it would be better to create a new thread
