I recently discovered interesting program called Team Viewer that allows use of computer with cell phone. I haven’t tested this program but theoretically it allows using EVE chat with cell phone.
Anyone here have any experience with this program and how it works with EVE?
Why don’t you try it and report back?
You could use it for that, but it’s a poor use for a powerful tool.
It would require that Eve be up and running on the machine that you’re remotely controlling, there would be lag, and the data usage on your phone may become excessive if not on the same lan, as it wouldn’t be just Eve chat that is being exchanged over the link between your phone and pc.
There are several applications that allow you to view eve mail on your phone, and there used to be one that would let you compose and send eve mail as well.
My Corp has not used in game chat in so long I can’t imagine why anyone would need the ability to do it remotely
