HyperNet improvements

Hello, I’ll start by saying that I’m the biggest player in HyperNet in the game, and I currently have 900 open offers in HN ranging from 200 million to 15 billion each, and I update them every 3 days.
I have more than 1 trillion isk in circulation, and I’ve created over 100,000 HN offers in the last year. I’d like to propose improvements to our beloved HyperNet that would benefit the all players.

  1. Players often ask me how to find only my HN offers in the general search. The answer is that at the moment, the interface does not allow sorting by the creator’s nickname of the HN offer. This is the first improvement I would like to suggest. Make it so that players can find their favorite character they usually play with, and provide a convenient search feature.

2)The Jita purchase in the market commission is 1.5% / the sale commission is 3.5%, but the HN commission is 10% for each offer sold and 5% for each offer not sold.

This is a very large commission, which leads to an increase in the price of ships and modules in HN, as a result of the increase in price, many of them are simply not sold, but the commission is deducted even on ships that have not been sold, which further increases their price, as these costs are included in the price.

Currently, according to my statistics, the ratio of HN offers that have been sold is 0.8-1.0, which means that for every ship that has been sold, there is 1 ship that has NOT been sold.
There are nuances related to this, as you have noticed, everyone in HN buys back half of their own tickets, this is done because players don’t want to wait, they want to buy back half of their tickets and see the results immediately, which leads to the fact that by buying back their own tickets, the profit from each HN sale decreases by half, as you don’t receive any profit from your half. Additionally, only one out of two HN offers is sold, resulting in significant markups on ships and modules in the HN system.
I am confident that my proposal will make the HN platform much more popular by reducing costs and the final price. For you, the reduction in commission will not be a loss, as it will be offset by the number of HN games played (a 30% reduction in commission will greatly increase the popularity of the HN platform).

At the moment, the markup on offers is ~45-55%, For example: if a ship costs 1B isk in the market, it costs at least 1.5B isk in HN, which is a huge difference

I propose to reduce the commission from 5% for HN placement to 3.5%, as well as reduce the commission for HN placement from 5%+5% to 3.5%+3.5% (ISK + HyperCore) if the offer has been implemented
According to my calculations, this will reduce the average price from 1.5B isk to 1.2B isk as more offers will be implemented and many costs will not have to be included in the price
-You won’t lose anything, as more players will be playing HN-

Or there is another solution to this problem: increase the number of days for the offer’s expiration period from 3 days to at least 5-6. placing HN 400-500 offers on sale every day is not an easy task

  1. Correct display of property and isk in HN, at the moment if I put up a ship for example for 1B isk and bought tickets for 500 million, in total assets it will not be indicated, but it should be 1.5B, please correct this, it is very inconvenient. You can make a calculation of the items put up at the market price (if you are the creator of the HN offer) and the total amount of the items redeemed, and write it all in total assets

I am confident that these 3 changes will have a positive impact on the HN platform and on players in general.

Yours sincerely, Casino Elite

BTW why there is such a huge gap between 48 and 512 tickets placement?

It’s more convenient to buy 8 tickets instead of clicking on each of the 48. There’s an option to purchase tickets in bulk, but few people use it.

You’re assuming more ppl wanna use that garbage. I know a lot who would rather it was removed

You probably didn’t get my Q. I’m not talking about buying tickets by one or multiple. I’m interested why there are only 8 16 48 & 512 nodes available to be placed?

and how many nodes would you like to place? are these options not enough for you?

I know a lot of people who would play much more if the prices were reasonable.

72? 96? 128? 256?

I would add 1024 for ships over 300 billion isk

I get annoyed when HN links are spammed in the chat nonstop, but the platform itself is very useful and adds fun to the game.

nah 8 nods are the perfect number for faction SC / Titans, AT ships rolls but 48 and then 512 nver found a logic in that gap

Just like in real life, Hypernet is for gambling addicts and people with more ISK than sense….

if you don’t have enough money for the ship you want, you can always try your luck and buy a couple of tickets.
