I Build Something (EveMon rewrite)

Hey together,

i had some PTO and build something.
Little Story first:
I am playing EVE since a lont time now and took quiet a break from it back in 2019, recently i started playing again and was shocked that a lot of the old tools i used to use dont work anymore and arent supported anymore.
One of my favourites was EveMon, basicly non replaceable for me as a trader and miner.
Sadly this great piece of software doesnt work anymore so i decided to give it a little love and a whole rewrite.
The still maybe buggy version is now ready and open for the public.

(the message after start that there is a new version is a bug, in datei-einstellungen is the eve dev portal linked for the api key and creation, after linking your account use datei-sde online aktualisieren so the numbermapping is correct)

Pls give it a try and maybe some love.

Feel free to ask me if something is now working as intended or for general freedback and support ^^

While I have never used evemon, I applaud your effort and time spent. You are a Gem!

I used to use evemon religiously. It was a shame way back when it was no longer supported…after that i stopped using it.

Its nice that somebody is still willing to put the time into it and get it working once again.

I know that EVEmon is very old and was very useful before the in-game fitting tool came out. I just think you would have reached a larger public if you had a mobile version. Conversion to Android. That is certainly interesting for people who travel a lot and therefore cannot play.

hmm i maybe can set up a build change to create an apk / Android Version

well a rework/android version would need a compleatly new rewrite, we are talking like doing the whole thing again in JS and that wouldnt solve problems like the SSO Callback (no localhost on android)
Also a Webversion isnt realy possible cause of the API and how its implemented
and the UI system isnt working with Android aswell.

Simply way to much work for a extreamly limited usecase.

I gona do some research and maybe i can set it up as a webapp somehow and host it on one of my servers, but no promise cause its a lot for a single dev
