@Lydia_Dinae The taxes are set to encourage players to join a corporation. Most corporations’ taxes are advertised 5% or 1% with other perks like buybacks at low rates, ship replacement… some even have an enrollment bonus.

My corp has 100% tax or whatever the max is allowed.
And i rule w an iron fist, that being said my people love me because i bring them the bacon and glory so you get what you pay for, dont go discount and expect luxurious rewards.
