I’m not gonna read your lore junk. You didn’t specify that it would have capital fittings. I figured you would be smart enough to give it bonuses like attack battlecruisers instead of just writing a blank check for PG/CPU.

i was wondering about that myself.
giving it enough raw CPU/PG to mount capital guns might also mean you could fit capital shield extenders/plates to it…
could make for an interesting bait ship…
in any case, i’m hoping this concept is ignored by the devs.

The hull tank specialization is a neat idea, The manual firing is whack.

The manual firing thing wouldn’t even remotely work. You would simply hit nothing but maybe a structure or a sieged dread/fax.

I’d partially agree with you and that is the point as stated earlier.

Having said that if you get a pilot who plays something like Elite Dangerous then they may be very good at manual flight and could cause a lot of damage with fixed weapons. So it could be very effective against other ships if the pilot is skilled enough to fly the ship manually.

Interbus has removed the 2 capital launcher hardpoints for capital missiles and instead fitted 2 standard launcher hard points with with a unique bonus to auto targeting missiles as they feel this will be important for self defence against smaller more nimble targets that may harass larger ships and not have to worry about having to target them and allow them to focus on main objective.

50% bonus to Auto targeting missiles damage per skill level of Auto-Targeting Missiles.

50% faster rate of fire to all weapon systems while ship is in manual flight mode with turrets locked in forward firing position.
100% penalty to tracking while in manual flight mode.
