Is it really about our health?

In a world where processed foods and drinks dominate, it’s time to question why certain healthy options, like raw milk, are demonized. Raw, unprocessed milk is a natural, nutrient-rich food that has been used for centuries, yet it’s often restricted due to myths and misinformation.

Meanwhile, substances like cigarettes, alcohol, and synthetic food dyes are legally available, despite the harm they cause. This contradiction is a call to action for us to reevaluate what truly contributes to our health and make choices that honor our bodies naturally.

It’s time to prioritize what’s best for our health, and raw, whole foods should be at the top of that list. What natural, whole foods do you incorporate into your daily life? Let’s embrace clean, real nourishment! :cow::glass_of_milk:

Do you remember when the supermarket just sold flour sugar rice cooking oil in bulk and then the fruit abs vegetables then a few special items?

Remember going -to the butchers, fish market and baker with milk use to be delivered to your door n the early hours!

The issue is that our lives became too busy and it then became easier to allow others to prepare our foods for ready type meals.

The processed foods I could remember was bacon or sausage or bread along with sweet cakes.

/ meat pies are not processed food they are natural like Vegemite

/

Vegemite spread onto a Tim-Tam is just second to Vegemite on buttered toast.

I especially remember when food stores didn’t have all that packaged fake food.

Yes I do… in another time and another world that doesn’t exist anymore.

Too busy to properly take care of ourselves while the banksters transformed our households into businesses and taxed us accordingly.

I agree. There’s more processed food now than ever before.

And now they want us to eat bugs like some prisoners locked up in dungeons. And no one says anything. Who gave these people the Right over our bodies and health?

Vegemite is a by product of brewer’s yeast.

That is what is inside the jar!

/ note Vegemite can turn fruit juice :cup_with_straw: Alcohol

I’ve never tasted it and haven’t yet seen it at the store, although I do want to try it because it sounds good.

It is banned in the prison system here as it can be turned into Vegemite Moonshine.

/sorry for leading my replies mostly regarding Vegemite.

Do agree with your thread though when it comes to Vegemite I have to agree to disagree :ok_hand: as being just another processed food source.

Try as they may, they cannot stop human ingenuity.

I understand it is but now that we’re stuck with fake food we might as well pick and choose the best fake foods we want to keep although none is better.

Well…. Vegemite is actually very healthy.

/

Now if you ever do try it, be sure to find the YouTube clip of Hugh Jackman shows Jimmy how to really eat Vegemite.

Then after a few years you would be able to just enjoy it by the teaspoon out of the jar when you’re rushed to skip breakfast.

///If when first starting out with Vegemite.

Rule is less is more!

Drink all the raw milk you want. That tidies up the pool for people with a modicum of thought capacity.

I’ve had vegemite once. I can’t recall what it tasted like though.

But natural unpasteurized 100% organic chocolate milk with a thick layer of fat on top that you had to shake up before drinking? That was amazing!

Nobody buys organic food, not even organic milk. Due to them being expensive. It is very ironic, because over here the foods the least expensive to produce are sold as most expensive. They also happen to be the healthiest for man.

Something similar goes with computer parts. When a part(cpu or gpu) is declared the most price/performance advantagous by western media, prices in eastern countries for THAT part and above tiers are set to prohibitively more expensive artificially. Therefore, no longer advantagous.

Many years ago they didn’t display use by dates on milk.

This is tragic. We’re living in past the information age, into the computer age…yet people still don’t know about this.

Or they simply don’t care. Which is their deliberate choice.

I’m frankly surprised that Man even got past the stone age.

Back when I was young, my brothers and I bounced around in the back seat of the car, like monkeys, while Dad drove and Mom yelled at us. Then in the 90’s, the US government passed a law to wear seat belts for people under 18, and everyone in the front 2 seats. Then here in my state they recently removed the motorcycle helmet law… people should not need to be told what is good for them. They should know well enough. Mechanically hurling your body at speeds faster than one can run is very dangerous.

Food is the same. I don’t eat rocks, so I take a daily vitamin to get my minerals and iron. Biology made us omnivores, I eat meat and graze on salads. I often wonder about that first man who ate a reaper pepper and said, “Hey! It didn’t kill me. They are good to eat people.”. At one point tomatoes were thought to be poisonous. Taken to Europe by Spanish conquistadors returning home in the early 16th century. Tomatoes were grown only as a decorative plant, tomatoes weren’t eaten in Europe until the late 1700s. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.

I am too old to care at this point. I will eat my Burger King Whopper, wash it down with a real milkshake, give me the greasy salty fries too! I enjoy eating food. Trying to cheat death by eating soy and almond milk, is not pleasurable, and a waste of worry. I hope the government doesn’t pass a moron law about food over the next 20 years. I want to ride my motorcycle backwards, through flaming hoops, while I dine on blood sausages, Arby’s Curly Fries, and drinking a dark brew beer.

I know food won’t kill me, in the end, it will be massive organ failure, or spontaneous combustion.
