Is there anyone here with hardcore multiboxing experience on linux?

Looking for happy story of multiboxing, like, 7-8 clients. Right now I can launch 3 clients and when I start 4th, OS freezes. I have not so bad i5 cpu, nvidia 1660 and 16gb of ram. Don’t know what PC I need for 7 or 8 clients…

Im running 5 clients…

R5-3600 32GB RAM, RX460 with 3 monitors attached. At some points it does feel like running the 4th and 5th make it slower, but it works. I’ve noticed (most likely unrelated) that if I try the abyss while I have the 5 clients running, its very poor and sluggish, and just closing 2 clients makes it breeze, working nicely again. I run 1 client with max details, and the other 4 with a medium to high setting, but those 4 in window mode at 1280x720, while the main one I run at 1920x1080. I have a ram leak on the launcher and my main client, so I normally close the launcher… and relog the main after some time. Ram usage normally is around 2gigs per client, but the main one, as I use for longer time, can go up to 3 or 3.5gigs… and thats when I notice it really slow performing, and a relog solves the problem.

4 clients at max graphics (very important to limit fps to 60 using mangohud at launch options and those 2 flags DXVK_STATE_CACHE=0 DXVK_ASYNC=1)
