and minmatar are still terrible at reloading ammo

Why does it still take 10 seconds?

Missiles and vorton projectors are 10 seconds (or more) as well. Missiles and projectiles have changeable damage types, not just range.

It’s been 20 years. They should have improved the tech.

Maybe the Amarrians are right and they’re just too lazy… still and forever.

It’s not about the tech, the reload time is there as a balance. Gain: selectable damage type, loss: more reload time.

and its not just minmatar.. my caldari ships are 10 sec or longer depending on the type of launcher.

Because not every weapon system is the same.

Each weapon system has it’s own characteristics, upsides and downsides.

In return Minmatar weapon systems do not use any capacitor, have huge falloff and have the highest alpha capabilities in the game.

I’d hope that if i had been doing something for 20 years, I would be able to shave a second off.

Yea, and other weapon systems could only hope to be able to use less capacitor or deal more damage per hit.

But no, each weapon system has it’s own strengths and weaknesses so they’re unique instead of identical.

The Caldari have. Fly a Jackdaw.

Thats because they still using monkeys to reload the ammo on their hamster powered ships. Also minmatar engineers have the mental capacity of a gerbil so don’t expect much.

and also to fire the guns and also to give command of firing said guns.

You just need the right captain and ship class for the job. While still flying junk held together by duct tape, do not underestimate what they’re capable of when flown correctly!

New ship classes, should have changes to reload times and really flip the mechanics. Not just guns, but reppers too.

Not enough duct tape.
