It's not a contract if you can't complete it - Courier

The most important commodity in EvE is trust. Which ends this discussion. Don’t use citadels if you don’t trust the owners. It is intended gameplay. Stop whining and learn how to play the game.

Yeah but…

Does it blend?

and just before you were not when adressing to me.

No.
Because nobody made public contract to NS, unless NPC.
However people make public contract in HS. So people expect with the citadels to be able to make public contract to a citadel in HS, and get this contract performed.

This is just as interesting gameplay-wise as making a modification that randomly makes you lose all the money when you place a BO/SO. Because that’s exactly what it is, and that’s why people don’t use it, thus it is BROKEN.

That is a feature that forces the hauler to gamble a huge investment whenever you feel like using it, with a good chance to lose it all and a very small chance to gain a very small amount.
If you think it’s fine, then go play your own crappy lootbox game and stop playing spreadsheet online.

K, so a sentence at the end of the post, in a different paragraph and to a response from a different quote, is something that alludes to a sentence at the beginning of the post, in reply to a different quote. Got it.

People did. I know for a fact. I used to run courier contracts before citadels existed.

I dont know if they were trying to scam, or if they were legit. I could certainly understand it, though, cause i almost fell for clicking on it, till i read where the destination lead. The red letters are a giveaway.

Except for that sentence in red letters.

Its not broken, the problem here is trust.

You might as well say the contract system is broken because people scam in jita local, or that the trade window system is broken because people use it to scam.

The fact of the matter is, no one is complaining about this because it doesnt affect them. They know better. Dont accept trade windows with people unless you know them. Dont accept contracts without looking over the fine details. And this is a fine detail, with courier contracts. The station may not be accessible to you.

Then dont gamble. Its that simple.

Haulers take a gamble when they courier to lowsec or nullsec.
Haulers take a gamble when they courier through 0.5 sec space.
Haulers take a gamble when they accept a courier contract and the person who did the contract, is waiting outside with a gank fleet.

There is an inherent amount of risk with courier contracts. Haulers accept this risk by choice.

Actually, the game already agrees with me. So i think its fine, and ill continue to play spreadsheet online feat. citadels courier blocking.

It feels like youre the one who has a problem with it. So why dont you play free to play game #271829.

It is the easiest alternative, and when you don’t understand this then you should go away.

No, the easiest alternative is to shut down EVE forever. All the problems will be solved that way.

No, shutting down the forum would be easier. It’ll leave us the game and all complaints can go to hellReddit.

Anyhow, my original comment was:

He simply read the first sentence and that was it for him.

That would be easier. So would getting rid of CCP customer service.

Let’s just get rid of our PCs.

The point is, right now, nobody in their right mind will take a courier contract to an arbitrary Upwell structurel. If you need stuff delivered to that, it is not gonna happen, at least not with reputable service like red/blackfrog or pushx.

The idea of using an NPC station is cute but that might be multiple gatecamps away or you just don’t have the capacity to move the items from the NPC station to the destination structure.

Sounds like a personal problem.

No HS system is farther than 3 jumps away from a NPC station. You should be able to handle few jumps in remote systems to move your stuff.

But i like porn.

If the devs were all let go we would not have to worry about dumb ideas.

what about all the dumb ideas that are already implimented?

So many good words.

And nothing related to thread.

Since this topic seems to have gone off the rails, I’ll just close it for being off topic.
