It’s actually not a simple question to answer. We’re not using traditional Jita Buy or Sell prices. Instead, the appraisal pricing algorithm roughly works like so:
Complex analysis of historic price fluctuations, discarding outliers, taking into account current and historic order depth, to establish the highest price that it’s highly likely for the item to trade at within a given time period. (This is similar to ‘Jita Sell’, but is usually higher.)
Deduct a ‘platform margin’ from the calculated price.
Deduct expected sales taxes/broker fees.
Deduct a shipping fee (based off multiple public shipping service offerings), dependent on the value/volume of the cargo, distance to Jita, and security level of the space that is passed through en-route.
As such the answer is it depends. It depends on the item, how much of that item you’re selling, and where it is.
