You can’t account for billions…you are a scammer that works over new players…deal with it.
Lol sure I can, doesn’t mean I’ll tell you, since you’ll just say something else and keep believing your delusions. BTW I stole at least 7 trillion isk by now, even got 500 titans from one dude. What else you wanna believe, I’ll see if I can help you out by roleplaying.
You’re scum…your corp is a scam and we all know it.
Notice nobody is rushing to your defense? Telling with 1750 people.
Billions milked from noobs…sad.

CCP should do away with npc corp taxes since it literally doesn’t help anyone. At least in his scam, a real human being uses it.
It provides incentive to get out of NPC corps and engage with other players. TBH CCP needs to make the NPC corp tax start increasing to 100% as your character gets older instead of letting people remain in the default tutorial corp forever.
(And then we can bring back war decs regardless of structure ownership, combined with having the war continue to apply to members of a corp that leave so you can’t just hop corps forever to dodge it. MORE CONTENT.)

See. it’s things like this what WOULD make Eve great again…good idea.
I’m all for helping new players but allowing them to stay indefinitely in NPC corps is akin to living in your parents basement well past the age of 24…

It actually conditions them to be accepting of a corp tax which then causes them to be more susceptible to scammer scaming newbies. Also, it’s not really content. Content is what CCP adds. PvP is just an interaction.
I’d rather see new content instead of the same thing over and over, and that includes your brand of “pvp”.
If npc corps were tax free, you wouldn’t have one/alt man’s corps
I was applauding the ramping-up of taxes if in a NPC corp though.
I pay no tax no in a 1-person corp so that would be the same and a NPC in your scenario…I’d keep my corp as would most I think.
Would have not been such a strong phenomena if the tax were never there. But you’re thinking selfishly and not from the perspective of a new player who would stick around since there would be other people in their empire faction. What puts people off is the tax.
Also, if taxes are a scam. Why does a corp in the goonswarm federation tax their members 10%?
Why would anyone go to null if they get scammed?
You all should notice the words you’re choosing.
High sec gets more pvp combat than null, btw.

Interactions are content. It’s why people play a multiplayer game.

Fair point. CCP could rename it a “NPC penalty” rather than a tax, separating it from the corp tax paid in actual corps to fund collective activities. Combined with ramping up the penalty to 100% this should make it clear that the penalty is not the normal state of things and that you’re supposed to stop paying it ASAP.

One-man alt corps wouldn’t be a problem if CCP put war decs back to where they should be. Feel free to go off on your own and have a one-man corp, you’ll just be on your own if anyone decides to target you.
Also, if taxes are a scam.
Taxes aren’t necessarily a scam. Taxes can be a legitimate means of raising money for collective activities. For example, goons have a collective capital fleet used for the benefit of the alliance as a whole so it’s entirely fair that each member pays into the alliance to support it. The scam is Naari’s pathetic “newbie helping” corp that charges a tax while providing nothing in return.

As a collective, they make trillions. They don’t need it and while we’re at it if the point is to get people out of the npc corp, why not eliminate it all together? Or even better, it should inject them into random player made corps.
Most people have a strong “pride of ownership” current running through them even if it’s just a solo corp in a space game. Wouldn’t really call that selfish.
I never said made a blanket statement “tax is a scam”…I was specifically referring to what ICANP is doing and even explained why NS corps tax their members…apples and oranges…
Of course HS gets more PvP but that doesn’t reflect the costs at all that NS corps are incurring to fight wars. That blanket statement misses a lot of key facts as to why taxes can be high in Null…

This is a valid point. NPC corps are necessary beyond the tutorial stage because sometimes you’re moving between corps, get kicked out of a corp, etc. The NPC corp allows you to fill the “corp” field in the database entry for your character without actually putting you into a corp before you can finish making those arrangements. Keeping NPC corps in existence but making them extremely unappealing allows them to serve this purpose and prevents the need for major mechanics changes, but provides effectively the same encouragement to get into a player corp ASAP.

And their costs match that…Where as ICANP doesn’t even own stations or run fleets…
I’m anti NPC so I’m fine with that…but not forcing them into player corps.

You could just not have them in an empire faction from the get go. Real outlaws don’t hail to people.
Can you maybe add some text so I know what you are getting on at?

New players need a chance to learn the basics (including how to choose a corp) before being put into a player corp.
And, like I said, NPC corps still fill an important role even if newbies don’t start in them. Making NPC corps unattractive for long-term use is a much easier solution than trying to figure out a way to implement a “not in corp at all” state in the database.

I think that’s called a “0” (zero)
I think, you shouldn’t start in a corp. You don’t start as an employee at mcdonalds after all. It should be more realistic. You just have yourself and then if you get into faction warfare, you can chill in empire faction. Taxing newbies and giving them the hint to jump into something in order to see the maximum fruit of their labors is a surefire way of punishing players for literally no reason outside of role playing and whatever personal opinions you have about it.
