I am having a problem updating the launcher for a week now, it is impossible to play the game all together I have two open request for help but no responses that are of any use. Or actionable for that matter.
I did try to verify the game files but that did not work.
I try to reinstall the game by downloading the setup.exe from the official site, no luck game could not be installed.
I try via steam I did install but I was able to log in once after downloading the full eve client but was greeted with the message that the chats are offline the skill plan is not available at the moment. Fitting window was not working as properly as well.
After closing the game and starting the launcher a second time back to square one ‘‘error occurred while trying to update…’’ and seconds later the ‘‘field to verify the token for the account please log in again…’’ sorry I am trying to write the messages from top of my head I am not sure if I can see them some where and copy and past them.
Don’t know…it sounds like your PC might be the problem. Maybe test it on another machine? Maybe do a RAM check or use a different harddisk with a fresh operation system? A few points of your problems sound like very basic non-working stuff that should be impossible to occur…like being unable to install the game, verify the files and such. May also be your internet connection.
Is other software acting up on your machine?
Thank you very much for your reply, I do not have any another issues apart from eve but to be honest as soon I posted here the terrify game started and the verification is done I have to go to work and could not wait for it. How ever the verification of the token is still a problem atm. I am not very keen of reinstalling my OS to be honest.
But I can try a laptop just to rule out the connection
I did check my antivirus as far as I understand what I see. CCP and eve online are trusted and I hope Kaspersky is not causing the issue.
