Launcher Updated, now throws procedure entry point errors and missing files (fixed)

The launcher throws up the following messages and fails to load

evelauncher.exe - Entry Point Not Found
" Procedure entry point ?wildcardToRegularExpressions@QRegularExpression@@SA?AVQString@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C\Eve\Launcher\Qt5Widgets.dll."

When I launch the launcher. After the third error nothing happens.

Any solutions so that I dont have to nuke the launcher and download it again and have to login all my characters again?

Edit 1, copying the error files from a working version of the launcher does not remove the errors and get it to launch.

Edit 2, renaming the current folder \Eve 2 and installing a fresh eve client kept has fixed the issue and it kept all my logins in the fresh client logged in, very nice. So if this happens to you, rename the existing eve folder to 2, install a fresh version of eve and it should be as it was with all you logins preserved, etc

Meh. If they can come up with a proper patch to fix it I’ll login and give everyone all my stuff. But I’m done going through that kind of work for something I play for less than 10 hours a year.

I have played with the old launcher and it is toast, and because it doesn’t launch, CCP cant deploy a patch to fix it. A fresh install seems to be the only day to get back in.

I was afraid this was going to be the case, third time this year, … CCP how about waiting to update the launcher until after windows updates Net Framework I think that may be the issue.
Mine just black screens then hangs
