Launching a mac client with a default audio device set to >48khz sample rate forcibly changes the output down to 48khz without user permission which also temporarily interrupts the audio during the switch.
This was verified using both my USB Sound Blaster X and using my Internal Macbook pro speakers set to 96khz.
If you’re going to change my settings, at least tell me (preferably including why) you did it instead of just doing things arbitrarily.
