Is it a graphics glitch, or are the special edition commodities really time limited? When they expire, they disappear? What’s the point?

Time limited means they’re available for a limited time, not that they disappear after a limited time.

OK, it has the same symbol in the corner as the boosters that actually do become inactive after a while. That’s what confused me. Thanks.

Wow. You may inspire CCP to come up with another new icon to represent limited items with or without expiration 
It would also be nice to have one to represent “limited to this one time only” … but it probably can’t happen. CCP can decide to issue a limited time item again. For a limited amount of time.
