Before your nerf:
5 Players with 20 accounts each = £600 month if subbed
After your nerf:
5 players with 5 accounts each = £250 month if subbed.
Where do your other accounts come from?

If they want to waste their lives gaining isk for no reason, thats their business,
but its not “being successful” at anything in particular.
Well id like to see the stats, I would suspect a lot of those accounts and the more accounts you have you are not actually funding ccp and instead plexing with isk instead.

If you use PLEX thats more money to CCP, not less.
PLEX costs more per month than a sub.
PLEX is bought, and goes on market.
Why would CCP want to reduce the customer base for PLEX by limiting accounts?
Do you sub 20 accounts? I think not. Plex has been hoarded by the wealthy and its been rigged for a while. Some players buy plex but they are subbing for those with multiple accounts. Its a viscous circle and I think you know it

Prices havent changed in RW currency, at least not in mine for ages if at all.
wow, Exactly you may get more isk now for your money but plex never falls so if you hoard it you know you will make a killing later for less $$. Rigged.
Secondly I think i answered CCP are probably not getting £600 from 5 players with 20 accounts they are getting £600 from other players buying plex not the 5 subbing 20 because they wont be.
But if they PLEX CCP gets more. That PLEX is bought from them and sold. You cant have it both ways.
Those 20 accounts represent a demand for PLEX, it really doesnt matter when it was bought, and if anything hoarding it brings the price DOWN for others as the market swells.
Basically unless you can come up with a financial reason for CCP to limit account ownership, you aren’t going to see this happen.
Have you seen plex drop ever? The 5 guys with 20 accounts are not subbing though and they are buying plex with ingame currencies. What your arguing about is please everyone else sub my account for me.

I was playing it a bit as it went towards 5mil then it started to slump when CCP did a sale on DLC
Geez I really wish people would stop saying plexed accounts don’t pay CCP. A plexed account is worth MORE than a payed one. Why can’t people get that through their thick skulls.

I think people know that, i think what is being said is those plexed accounts (excessive ones) are generally indirectly payed for by others.

The amusing part is that Eve was developed to fill a niche hole in the market, and over the years has become the WoW of that niche, in that other devs attempting to get in on it have to compete with the behemoth of that niche, Eve.
Sorry I give up, I no longer wish to bang my head against the same wall. Having multiple active accounts gives you an advantage over someone that hasnt.
Having a Gila over someone in an Ibis is also an advantage. Why’s that fair and this isnt?
