There was this issue about 2-3 years ago where cyno’s and cover cyno’s wouldn’t work in anomalies, then CCP said it was a bug and not a feature.

CCP will simply seed the market and pvp life will go on, they just have to absorb the income loss from the majority of players unsubbing. keep in mind, carebears generally have multiple accounts, Only a few PVP players multibox well.

Nor is it a single player experience… If you dont want your epithal destroyed. Ask a friend to scout… Escort it , Take the steps into your own hands to avoid being ganked.

Docking up because this change removes every bit of riks from the ganktard. Nullsec is not supposed to be safe, not for me (and never was) not for ganktards (99% safe before, 100% safe now).
Eve is NOT a pvp game. Eve is a sandbox game with niche pvp system strapped to the side of it.
Tournaments are pvp, the rest of the game is not, and notice how many rules, regulations, limitations, and enforcement it takes to make pvp happen!
Ganktarding is especially not pvp, as you only jump on people when it’s safe to do. Worst risk-averse behavior of generating 0 content when it’s not safe for you, which makes it lower than krabs.

Players have critical thinking. So they’ll be fine.
You and other lazy/risk adverse people will continue to complain and die though. God forbid you lose a barge every day or two. Not like nullsec is better for mining and ratting than every other space combined or anything.
Like many plays who have been in the game for more than 10 years, I play with several accounts and like doing different things, my main does PVP and alts doing Indy etc. I have lived in Null most of the time.
There must be a change in the game but not really not sure if this is going to work. The bears will just not log on and many people like myself will say I only need two accounts now not Five. So CCP loses a lot of money and the game shuts down.
The PVP will be great for a few weeks (some players coming back for it) but the targets will dry up as people run out of isk as the cost of everything goes up because there are no caerbears building the stuff.
We must remember 95% of everything you buy in EVE is built by players, if they can’t build the game stops!
Intel still works on dotlan so the pvp’s know which systems are being used by PVE players.
I hope CCP publish the figures of what happens this weekend and the next few weeks the number paid accounts, the amount of people logging, how many leave a station?
This is my only game and I do think it is mainly great but I agree something needs to change in Null but lets be told the real results about this goes, who knows it be great for the game

CCP will falsify this data, just like they falsified new player retention figures. They can’t be trusted with anything not confirmable otherwise.

You guys where all wrong on your predictions. On a usual roam its an easy 4 ratting ship kills, so far on this roam only 1 vni died the rest are pvp players shooting each other and using bait vni’s to trap other hunters.
But its been great so far super fun roaming blind.

Holy hell, the amount of whiney turds in here is mind boggling. Nullsec has been damn near safer than high for over a decade, it’s about time something shook things up and kept people from sitting afk and complacent.
Seriously amazes me, so many people are terrified thay they actually have to be a half decent active player in order to survive.
This is a fantastic change, and I for one am incredibly excited to see where it leads.

Actually we have a -50 player for same hour as yesterday agree with eve offline
Eve has a living economy, it will adapt. If PVErs in null stop then isk generation drys up and isk becomes worth more. If mooner miners in Null stop the materials become worth more and the risk vs reward goes up, thus enticing players to risk more to get it. If Null Industry winds down then the profits for other industrialist go up. For every action there is a reaction on the market. The profit margins for industrial right now are abysmal unless it’s abyss goods. The game could use a healthy dose of destruction and industry slowdown.

i will agree only if all free intel are remove. ALL free intel, not only local.
Don’t forget incoming wormholes. Wormholers will be rage rolling nullsec holes until they find content.
