Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread

I’m talking about the many many players that don’t suck at staying alive even with no local cause they coordinate and use Dscan.

I’m a miner and producer. I operate in space where there’s no local and it’s impossible to get a heads up on incoming hostiles until their already in system. YOU are risk averse and if your plan is to stay docked all of blackout then you are lazy too as you are refusing to learn from wormholes who have dealt with no local for 10 years.

Unlike you i’m using my main to post on this forum. Im pretty clearly not much of a PvPer. Though you can’t see it since Zkill is doing blackout too. I’ve done null sov warfare and system defense in the past and i’ve bridged many bombers on null roams with a friendly wormhole group. Ships die and people shrug it off cause that’s just a roam.

I could post the many many many many proofs that null makes far more isk than every other space combined but i’m sure you’d just deny it like people who deny Climate Change. Facts don’t work with you as you’ll just ignore them and call them chicken gankstars.

Yep, they keep whining about how safe nullsec is, and at the same time want it to become even safer for ganktards.

And now it’s been made absolutely safe for ganktards.

Like a cloak changes or cyno changes, so cloaky cyno risk-averse trashes can’t leave their PC safely anymore?

We all know where it leads. Empty nullsec outside cap umbrellas, every krab who still wants to mine or rat doing it in a super or rorq under umbrella, and a lot of salty ganktards whining they have nobody to safely gank.

How does dscan stop covert ships again?
You mention it so many times you must be convicned there is a way, somewhere in that worthless dumb excuse for a brain of yours there.

Wormchicken space doesn’t have cynos and gates, thus whatever they do there obviously won’t work in actually dangerous space nullsec is.

If you’re bad, yes. If you’re above 40 IQ, no.

Ganktards are chickens, and that’s a known fact they confirmed in this very thread.

Holy hell you bitch and moan so much you’ll develop carpal tunnel, if you put as much effort into your playing as you put into your complaining you might actually manage to be perfectly fine in game.

This is the way of the nullbears, spoiled for 15 years by CCP now and for the first time in 15 years feeling the wind in their faces…

What did you expect? …

The wind is cold…

Welp, halfway to seven thousand posts of undiluted NaCl, and if anything it’s just accelerating.

It occurs to me that this event is pure and utter win/win in every way. Either it actually does reinvigorate the utterly stagnated and boring nullsec, and possibly even setting the stage for similar resurrection of lowsec, with bears enduring and PvPers returning, or it might lead to a return of PvPers who gave up on Eve when CCP pandered too hard at the bears while the bears sod off to Hello Kitty Online Adventures, or the PvPers remain absent and the bears still sod off, and Eve can finally die off.

There’s no outcome of this that isn’t a good one, as long as all the whiners actually follow through on their threats and unsub.

Yeah. Just flue a round. Shot some ships. Got blown up. It is glorious.

Just go in solo, VNI’s are very easy to kill and without a local they won’t even know you are there until you’ve pointed them! LOL

deployable D-scan jammers incoming

This guy gets it!

It doesn’t. Traps do by killing covert ships. Namly Force Recons or your own cloaky ships. But you’ll just disagree even though it’s been a tried and true method for 10 years.

Wormhole space is harder to live in and more dangerous that null. Fact. That’s why null bears stay in null. Cause it’s safer. If wormholes were chicken space youd be here.

So your IQ is below 40 by your own admission. Got it.

“Ganktards” do a lot of legwork to get their kills to a relative “safe” level. Even then they still die in decent amounts. If they don’t do proper scouting and zkill checks on targets they’ll get baited and wiped out cause all covert ships have ■■■■ survivability. But of course YOU haven’t killed a covert ops before cause you suck. So of course it’s…

…when they attack you. Just continue to refuse to learn from people who’ve worked with no local for 10 years like you always do. Call them cowards for being able to survive better than you. Or just quit cause your worthless to a community that’s been adapting pretty well on just this first day of blackout.

Yes, as long as it’s not in a bugged state. I think it’s working as intended. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Was trying to point out the fact that Nullsec was so safe it was like farmville. Very little risk in losing any PvE ships while ratting, since you can see every single person in system as soon as they enter.

You mean if he took a half hour to read some sections of various 10 year old wormholes guides? Yea i’ve told him. He called me a chicken.

they already exist.

There so much salt here, it’s overloading the supply/demand chain, so I’m storing it up in a shed, for use on the roads this winter! I’ve bled plenty of salt myself, when CCP nerfed ships and skills that I’d invested in heavily to learn, but this is the reverse, folks, where CCP’s forcing Nullers to learn the basics like probe and d-scanning and they’re whinging about it! No mercy, use your tools or die!

At this point I’m just eating popcorn waiting for his next ridiculous response. Well, drinking my coffee at least lol, fingers crossed he doesn’t make me laugh so hard it comes out my nose.
Eh, who am I kidding, of course he will

you guys are really scraping the bottom of the barrell. I would rather see the whole game completely collapse on itself than this. So now whats so special about WH life other than the openings and spatial effects? Im not quitting eve and i will PVP and quit my mining. Just when the money dries up im out.

It took me 5 minutes to get into a fight in Nullsec. No crickets. No boson titans. the 10 jumps I made there were pvp wrecks everywhere, tonns of people interested in pvp. Krabturd orca_pusspuss already failed in his predictions and it isn’t even weekend yet!

I’ve got his profile open with all this posts from this thread. I’m gonna start going heavy into forum quoting his responses to use against him. Like my last reply to him they are sure to make him even more of a laughing stock.

In their heads, this will be a magical land where all the bots will become oblivious to them, handing them thousands of green zkill marks on silver platters. The bots and krabs will never stop, playing the same way forever and ever because “it isnt safe now hooray!!!” and the kills will flow because their roaming t3 cloak can hotdrop dank super kills without anyone ever stopping them.

They cannot even COMPREHEND that something so absurdly one sidedly powerful will lead to no more open pve, and botting will leave nullsec. People bot to save time and make the most/hour. If they lose a vni every 20 minutes (or myrm after nerf) because theres literally no way to win against a cloak ship in a pve fitting (unless the “hunters” beg ccp to nerf things in their favor EVEN MORE)… They wont keep doing it.

Why rorqual mine when it takes 40 hours to replace 5 excavators… and now the booshers can land before you even recall them, undetected because cloaking exists?

Why bot nullsec when hunters can open up the ingame map using their oh so l337 pvp “skills” to see where the most npcs are dying, GO THERE, and cycle through anoms waiting… Hell why even rat? Everyone knows rock havens for supers, forsaken hubs for subcaps. It’s free intel to know exactly where to go and find these.

Why do hunters not realize that these “carebears” and “bots” and “krabs” and whatever else the hell they think will be spoonfed to them because theyve been too mentally retarded to keep up with the rest of eve (check zkill, a LOT of krabs die daily for a reason)… Why do they not realize that these activities will stop?

The only ones who benefit from this are the giant alliances who have umbrellas, now giant alliances can move supers anywhere and hotdrop or counter hotdrop easily. This change “only” fucks over the smaller groups who havent afforded to move into supers yet, and ensures they never will because any time a hunter sees a “bot alert” (aka their free intel map ingame showing a new system with high npcs killed last 24 hours) every 3l337 peeveepeer will show their mad awesome skill by sending ganking alts or cloak scouts there forever.

This change wont bring balance. It wont bring “less safe null”… it will only bring stagnation of the bots moving into highsec (and the wh ones staying where they are)… and the krabs not bothering because who the living hell would mine when any frigate gang can kill you before you even know they are nearby? It won’t be profitable… but most importantly. It won’t be fun.

Hisec mining died because you had gankers who could insure ships to actually break even off killing miners “stopping botterzzzz”. Now that in nullsec it hasnt been easy because “THEY SAW ME COMING. THEY SHOULDNT SEE ME EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE 50,000 PEOPLE ONLINE IM ELITE MOM TELL THEM IM ELITE CCP NERF THIS ■■■■ NOW I NEED MY DANK KILLS”

It’s ■■■■■■■ retarded that ccp went “oh hur dur thats right. Those poor peeveepee’ers… they need their kills spoonfed, how hard it must have been!” And when someone would link the absurdly high amount of kills in nullsec, its ignored because it doesnt fit this ■■■■■■■ meme.

Take null local away. Sure, leave all the free hunting intel people use to know exactly where to go. You think a bot has patience? People used to cloak camp super logins for weeks. It will go back to that, but only for those without umbrellas. Only in systems their free intel from the eve map will tell them to go to.

And when they run out of “targets” you mark my words. The forums will be FLOODED with “hackers docked up when i came in cloaked for my 100th kill ccp delete docking” or some other ■■■■■■■■ that the pvp carebears will come up with thinking itll bring back the “pvp” theyre pushing away.

It isnt hard to put cause to effect with how this will go. It’s just that people don’t like to face reality.
