Hmm… Law of unintended consequences. Today I observed a fleet of about 30 null sec pilots trashing a structure in 0.5 space. They were whining about how bad it was going to be now that there is the “comms blackout” in local null. They had come up to HS to loot structures instead of mining. They were going to extort miners in HS. I pointed them at chode. The said that code would not be a problem for them and would most likely run. Anything that has the unintended consequence of making chode’s life a little less pleasant makes me smile. Besides, who is afraid of the dark?
I rocked a miner for many years, I wanted to dig. But now I see that I can no longer dig. The CCP has made kill in null and I cannot do anything about it. Now I will only fly on pvp cta departures and stop entering the game, because for pve there is almost nothing left. in eva there is content with chat disabled, who liked it, they lived in wh. But most did not like him and they did not want to live by such rules. Now all deprived of the right to choose - WH everywhere. Previously, I did not want to farm money for anomalies or mining, it is boring, but now it is also dangerous. Because in this case the hunter always wins, he knows that he is ready for battle, and I do not know anything about him. This is good for me as a pilot who will catch all pve players and kill him. And this is bad for me because it makes it easier to capture my ship.

Dude, when I was big in the null sec stuff I mainly did blueprint running in my Prowler, purely fitted to to align as fast as possible.; I dabbled in PVP, because I like to actually know what the experience is like before I start complaining about it. PVP is a super expensive profession that often requires alt account or two to fund if you want to run anything outside of tier 1 equipment; so I decided that PVP was pretty well balanced because you often don’t turn a profit unless you have a group of gankers going purely after high profit targets like freighters. So I stuck with my original profession of blockade running and gate camp dodging. Did that for a year or two before my career kicked off, then I sorta fell out of eve for a little while.
After the bs that happened last time if this happens again im more likely to fight for goons… cept they probably be the ones with any ships out to shoot at…
Losing that many free loaders isnt exactly a bad look either; what has the game lost - accounts that sit in the same system only making isk? bots? vs what have we gained? have we gained more active accounts? accounts that are actively moving around exploding or exploding others?
Im not convinced losing accounts that only make money in a safe way, more or less constantly for hours on end that dont really add anything to the game is really, actually a ‘bad thing’
But yeh only 1st day.
we gained people that already quit the game once because it was too hard for them to kill people.
When they find it still isnt that easy, or they get bored. They will quit again.
So we havent gained anything

They QUIT because they sucked too much ass at pvp to do anything.
They will soon find another excuse to quit. I have no interest in rephrasing that fact

Now think REALLY HARD on this… to come back… means they had to have LEFT. They admittably ONLY came back to “hunt the krabs” meaning they left because they… you guessed it! FAILED AT THAT.
