Hello CCP.
Really nice you guys actually bother to say a word. I’ll make it quick.
You guys force gameplay upon us, nullsec, without even asking the CSM or any represents first.
It is true, the CSM is uneffective. But not because of the way the CSM work, but rather because of the devs at CCP.
The entire last week was a complete clusterfuck and the biggest clusterfuck since the boot-ini mistake.
I am really disappointed by the way I am being treated as a customer and thus have canceled all of my subcriptions. I have no high hopes of me resubbing then in the near future, as the last few days made me highly pessimistic about CCPs will (not ability) to take player representation serious.
EVE was always a unique and fun game and I am sad it ended like this.
OK? Time to quit the game, after 10 Years. RIP EVE online…
Edit: btw, I am paying 4 accounts per month, and the last weeks you ■■■■■■ all Null Sec players, and you are still going on. CCP, you will not get any cent of me from now. Ciao!
And I say ‘good’, too. It’s gonna be hilarious watching all the would-be hunters get themselves boson’d on gates because they think they’re the dangerous thing in the system.
@CCP_Falcon Please encourage the dev team to test stuff like this in an otherwise static vacuum. Whether or not this is a good change, the experiment will be tainted by any other mechanics you “test” at the same time. I would hate nothing more than for this change to increase pvp encounters, only to have the experiment invalidated by bad metrics. If you look at pvp encounters over the ~8 days of drifters, you’ll probably see a sharp decline in pvp encounters. If you look at ~8 days of no local you might see an increase in pvp encounters. If you look at ~8 days of both of them at the same time it won’t be easy to look at hard data and correlate the individual test cases with results.
So now we have what is effectively wormholes but with the ability to light a Cyno, Bombers Bar are going to have a field day, that is if anyone bothers to undock.
If I wanted to play in w-space, I would live in w-space. Also, you didn’t provide any rationale for this change…what are you trying to accomplish? Until this get unf’d, I have cancelled 4 accounts.
This looks like you ■■■■■■ up something and broke the code. Now to fix it you need to delay local… that or you’re instituting a vindictive “no local for you” to nullsec after they announced the New Economic Model. Which is it? The transparency for the last couple weeks is ■■■■. If you want to take the “it’s our game, we do what we want with it” approach many other companies have, feel free but realise ofc that those companies went under and good riddance to them.
It’s fine to do it for a week or so, to stick with the story. I would even accept once in a while during a drifter invasion. But permanent? No. Like has been said, if I wanted that kind of gameplay I would have moved to wormholes. I would leave null and just keep my one 14yo hisec account, out of nostalgia.
this will make it impossible to play in null sec and will ruin the game in the end, you will never know when some 1 is in system. It is hard enough to play there now. so if there is no warning eventually players will quit playing because they are continually being wiped out.
