Hi all,
This might be a bit of a longer note, but I’d really appreciate it if you took the time to read it through before sending me an invite or offer.
I played EVE Online hardcore up until around 2020. Since then, I’ve been on and off, as life has changed—I’m now 40 and a father of two. While I can’t commit like I used to, I still want to enjoy the parts of the game that truly mattered to me—especially the social interaction. That’s what I miss most, especially since most of my old EVE buddies have moved on.
Right now, I’m in a large PvP corp in nullsec. Great people, no complaints—but it’s just not clicking for me. I don’t feel like I belong, and it feels more like a crowd than a community. I’m not looking to be just another name on a spreadsheet (not their fault, I couldn’t blend in).
What I’m Looking For:
-
A mature, laid-back corp, preferably small to medium-sized, with active players in the EU timezone.
-
Not UK-dominated (nothing personal—I just know how corp comms can get dominated by one culture/timezone, and I’d like something a bit more varied).
-
A group that values good conversation, camaraderie, and fun over rigid expectations and endless CTA spreadsheets.
-
I’m happy to jump into PvP when needed, and I can fly a wide range of ships. I’ve picked up a fair bit of experience over the years, though there’s always more to learn.
-
I also enjoy PvE content and making ISK, especially as a way to fund my own PvP ships and keep things self-sufficient.
-
Not interested in big alliance ops that involve 60-minute travel fleets to shoot a Skyhook or some other soulless structure. I want purpose, not just pings.
-
A place where I can rediscover the spark that made me love EVE in the first place.
-
I’m also open to joining a newly formed corp and trying to fill in where I can—that could be something new and refreshing for me.
I’m not looking for a 7-days-a-week grind. I just want to log in, have a laugh, shoot something (or make some ISK), and feel like I’m part of something meaningful.
If this sounds like the kind of person you’d want in your corp, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Fly safe,
o7
